The Best 10 Minutes With Your Dog
The Best Time With Your Dog
It could be in the early hours of the day-Mine is after a walk and feed around 6pm-Then bring it on--
When your dog thinks it is all over for the day you believe it or not you have a great chance to get really close-
Let me explain in my way-----
Your dog might be shutting down for the night- This is the time to play and teach, because they are in a contented phase of the day-You do not necessary have to stir them up ,but you can be subtle in the way you talk with them.Yes talk with them-They love the sound of your voice even if you feel-"How the hell can they understand me if I am not giving orders"
This is quality time-Their legs will not kick you away-They lay in there bed with great trust-You have walked and fed them- Top dog you are.
Now with a soft voice you talk to them like reading a book to children-"Love you buddy" "You are a good dog"
sounds shit -Believe me it is not-My dog sleeps in my bedroom, so I talk then-"Hi Buddy-you are a good girl" The tail wags-carry on-You can talk all the shit of your world-the dog will not answer, but something very special happens -You get rid of a bad day problems and at the same time your dog feels a great closeness to you even tho it may not understand your words, it is the softness and love that counts-Try it and see how your dog will probably go belly up for you to scratch their tummy-They are listening in their way!!
Again think when you were a child and your parents read a book to you at night-Just as the sleep mode came on you-"love you Dad (or Mum)" you were feeling secured and happy-To me there is no difference with a PET. So the next day if you are training your dog or just walking you will find the commands work better-Just try a soft approach tonight as they fall into sleep-I am not a dreamer just a dog lover-My dog Billie is now on her bean bag she loves-so time to pat her and feel for ticks with a soft voice-She will not move-gives me time to check her out for lumps and other health problems- Go on try it- Only after you have done the same for your kids--
Mad as I am
